Home Logic Christmas Tree Stand Found in Tennessee Titans Locker Room

As of this writing, the Tennessee Titans football team are 11-1. Their incredible record has them slated as favorites for this years Super Bowl. So, what does football have to do with Home Logic or Housewares...well, nothing really. However, I wanted to relay one of those weird coincidences you stumble across while surfing the web.

We came across this blog entry on ESPN. It was about a special character in the Tennessee Titans locker room named "Bryan Pride". Brian started out as a Gatorade bottle that has been wrapped in tape...over time, that tape ball grew. Paul Kuharsky, ESPN Blogger and Analyst for the Oilers & Titans, goes on to describe how the giant ball of tape has taken on a life of it's own and has become a symbol of pride for the offensive linemen of the Titans. Bryan even has his own spot in the locker room.

Here's where we come in. Everyone knows that a 122 lb. ball of tape needs something to keep it from rolling away. In probably one of the strangest uses of Home Logic Christmas Tree Stand, Bryan Pride sits on top of a model #103 8' Christmas Tree Stand to keep from rolling away. We noticed that it still has our old packaging on it but, we know a 103 when we see one.

So, if you ever need a stand to hold your giant tape ball, Home Logic has your solution! It's a cool story and we're glad to be a part of it in our own little way.

Home Logic Laundry Has A Cameo

Sometimes it's the little things that make us smile. Just the other day a few employees at Home Logic were relaxing in their living rooms watching some TV when a commercial came on. The commercial was for the new Electrolux laundry machines featuring Kelly Ripa.

Immediately we recognized the laundry basket that she was holding throughout the commercial.

It was our own Home Logic Faceted Laundry Basket Model #2134!

So, we thought we would post the link of the commercial so you can see our Faceted Laundry Basket in the hands of the adorable Kelly Ripa.

Like I said, sometimes it's the little things that count.

New Products From Home Logic: Kitchen & Sink Accessories

TROY, MI -- HMS Mfg. Co. is pleased to announce a new line of Home Logic Kitchen Organizational Products & Sink Accessories.

Developing a new line of kitchen organizational products comes as HMS continues its trend of expanding the Home Logic Housewares brand. During the initial development consumer research had revealed a growing concern for in-house upgrades as opposed to buying new.

"It's been obvious for quite a while that rising gas prices and economy concerns are keeping many consumers from moving to larger homes or even doing high cost renovations." said Chris Sonjeow, Marketing Specialist for Home Logic. "However, we're all human and we need organization and change. Even if it's as small as having a more organized kitchen. We're starting to focus on the little things that keep people happy."

The new product line includes:

Home Logic Large Dish Drainer
The large dish drainer has a 14 plate capacity and a rust-resistant, coated wire bottom to keep plates steady. It also features a removable utensil holder with drain holes and has the capacity to hold large utensils, cutting boards & baking trays in an upright position. The highlight of this product is the wave pattern holds pans & bowls for fast drying.

Home Logic Small Dish Drainer
The Home Logic Small Dish Drainer has a 12 plate capacity and also holds large utensils, cutting boards & baking trays in an upright position.

Home Logic Small Drainboard
The small drainboard is the base created for the dish drainers. It's rimmed edge keeps water off the counters and drains it into the sink.

Home Logic Sink Mat
Keep your sink and dishes safe with the Home Logic Sink Mat. The ventilated design allows water to drain under mat and the cushioned pads protects dishes and sink from chips and scratches. Each sink mat is stain resistant and dishwasher safe.

Home Logic Sink Saver/Drying Rack
The sink saver/drying rack fits in the bottom of your sink or on the counter. In the sink it protects the sink from pans or other dishes. On the counter it can be used to dry dishes and it's wave pattern holds pans and bowls upright.

Home Logic Push 'n Seal Brush Holder
The Push 'n Seal Brush Holder keeps brush wands from cluttering up the sink by keeping brushes upright. It uses a strong, push-button suction cup that holds securely to side of sink. The Push 'n Seal Brush holder also fits long handled brushes.

Home Logic Push 'n Seal Sponge & Brush Holder
The Push 'n Seal Sponge & Brush Holder uses it's strong suction cup to keep sponges and brushes organized in the sink. It's wide opening holds both sponges and scrubbers.

Home Logic Push n' Seal Utensil Holder
The Push 'n Seal Utensil Holder features drain holes for fast drying. It holds a variety of utensils and kitchen tools so you're not digging around soapy water looking for silverware.

Home Logic Introduces "Designer Series"

So, we all went shopping looking for products in the wastebasket categories. As we strolled up and down the aisle we noticed that it was difficult to find a good looking, middle of the road wastebasket.

It came down to two types of wastebasket. There were some simple plastic cans that were similar to these, the same kind we've been producing since the start of Home Logic or the very expensive stainless wastebaskets that were priced at almost $100! We just wanted something in between.

We went to the drawing board and came up with some ideas. Everyone here at Home Logic has been hard at work over the past year designing and producing some great new products for 2008.

The result was the creation of the "Home Logic Designer Series." These products look great and are wonderfully affordable. Click on the link below to check them out!
